Media aesthetics for graduate students is an investigation of the media aesthetics with expanding theoretical discourses in depth. New media and new technologies are covered for considering aesthetic relationships between traditional throughts on arts and ideas of contemporary art and technology. Students will practice and reconsider their ideas and thoughts on digital media and leading edged technologies reflecting cultural matter and current issues not limited to social computing, information visualization, experimental computer game, new media culture, media art and media aesthetics.. Every week students have to follow up given readings presented by the professor and appointed students. Every week an appointed group with one chair will have a discussion-session for a given reading.
